Police2Peace: Empathy Above All

P2P 1

The Redlands Police Department is leading the nation as the first department to add the designation “PEACE OFFICER” to its entire fleet.

NFL great and ESPN host Eric Davis will serve as Ambassador with Redlands Mayor Paul Foster and Chief of Police Mark A. Garcia at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 14, when the Redlands Police Department unveils the inaugural cars at the RPD Administration building (Old City Hall) at 30 Cajon St.

Police vehicles for the City of approximately 70,000 residents about 60 miles east of Los Angeles now include the designation “PEACE OFFICERS.” The change was inspired by, funded and overseen by Police2Peace, a charitable organization founded to assist law enforcement agencies.

Inspired by a big idea, Police2Peace facilitates better relations between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Police2Peace represents forward-thinking and community mindedness.
